PQSDF has conducted numerous trainings on laboratory quality management system, quality assurance, and other related topics. Overall motive of this initiative is capacity building, knowledge up-gradation and enhance the skills of laboratory staff.

Dr. Arun Raizada

president & Senior Life Officer

Dr. Arun Raizada, past president of ACBI (Association of Clinical Biochemists of India) and IABS (Indian Association of Biomedical Sciences) and a senior Life Member of ACBM (Association of Clinical Biochemists and Microbiologists) as well as a man of multitude persona and yet humble to his field of expertise. He gave more than 42 Years of active services in the field of health care and diagnostics. He did his M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Lucknow University and Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from G. R. Medical College, Gwalior. Dr. Raizada began his career as a researcher at the Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute in Delhi, later transitioning to Lady Harding Medical College. He served as Head of Biochemistry at Escorts Heart Institute in Delhi and subsequently joined Medanta – The Medicity, Gurugram as HOD of Clinical Biochemistry. He also held the role of Vice President in PQSDF, Lucknow.


He was always a positive source of inspiration for his professional colleagues. He was always leading up from the front for the welfare of the clinical laboratories. He has inspired and guided innumerable young aspirants in the field of laboratory medicine. Academically, he has guided many DNB and PhD students with several research publications to his credit. He also served as NABL auditor and assessed many laboratories throughout the countries. He was a recipient of various prestigious awards and honors, including the Health icon award for excellence in health care by UP Government, Bharat Excellence Award by Friendship Forum of India, Bharat Jyoti Award by India International Friendship Society, Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award and Best citizen of India via International publishing house.


He has left behind a vast treasure of knowledge and his guidance will linger on in the mind and action to all those who were fortunate to have worked under him.

Dr. Amit Shrivastava

Chief Manager

Dr. Amit Shrivastava is the Chief Manager and Head of PQSDF in Lucknow, with over 16 years of experience in teaching and laboratory medicine. He completed his Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Previously, he served as an assistant consultant in the Department of Biochemistry at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram. For the past 6 years, he is working with PQSDF & taking care of Quality improvement and training programme of Medical laboratories associated with Government hospitals and Medical colleges.


One of the training programs conducted by PQSDF i.e. “Laboratory Quality Management System and Internal Auditor training programme based on ISO 15189:2012 and 2022 got NBQP accreditation (during 25 February 2021 to 24 February 2024) under his supervision. He is also involved in the training of lab staff on diverse topics like internal quality control, Westgard rules, EQAS, sample collection, health and safety and biomedical waste management and various training programs have been conducted in many Government hospitals and Medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh.


He is a life member of ACBI (Association of Clinical Biochemists of India) and IABS (Indian Association of Biomedical Sciences) and Member of ACBM (Association of Clinical Biochemists and Microbiologists). Dr. Shrivastava has authored more than 12 publications in reputable journals with high impact factors. Additionally, he serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for several prestigious journals

Dr. Aditi Jindel

Dr. Aditi Jindel is senior consultant at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Center, Delhi and associated with PQSDF as faculty incharge. With over 18 years of expertise in lab medicine and clinical pathology, she has held key positions at Aster Labs, Bengaluru, as the lead consultant and Head of Department for Biochemistry, and at Medanta The Medicity, Gurugram, as a consultant.


Dr. Jindel has given numerous training on ISO 15189:2012 as well as 2022 at prestigious institutes like AIIMS Rishikesh, AIIMS Bhopal, Government Institute of Medical Sciences Greater Noida and also in POCT Quality Skill Development Foundation Lucknow.


She is an NABL Assessor since 2016. She has done more than 60 NABL assessments as technical as well as lead assessor of clinical laboratory. In addition to NABL, she is also NABH assessor. She is also trained in Six sigma. Beyond her roles in lab activities, assessments, and teaching MBBS and DNB students, Dr. Jindel is actively engaged in research. Her research contributions include collaborative work with the Nephrology department on acute kidney injury (AKI) prediction in pediatric renal outcomes and studies on the reference range of PSA in the Indian population, as well as new AKI markers in post-cardiopulmonary bypass patients. She has more than 20 publications in national and international journals.

Dr. S.M Natu

Professor

Dr. S. M. Natu is a distinguished professional in Chemical Pathology, formerly a Professor at Department of Pathology, King George Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh with over 45 years of extensive experience in pathology and laboratory medicine including 31 years of experience in teaching & educating medical (MBBS and MD) students in Chemical Pathology and has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards throughout his career. He completed his Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from the Post Graduate Department of Pathology and Bacteriology at King George Medical College, Lucknow. Dr. Natu has a remarkable record with more than 105 publications in national and international journals. Presently, he serves as a Senior Biochemist in 24-hour Pathology laboratory at Department of Biochemistry, SGPGI, Lucknow. Dr. Natu is highly experienced as a Chief Supervisor for MD Theses, having supervised 20 MD Theses and co-supervised 54 others. His tenure at King George Medical College, Lucknow, culminated with his retirement in 2015 as Professor in Chemical Pathology and Incharge of the Chemical Pathology unit.


Dr. S. M. Natu received the Best Teacher Award in 2010 from Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University, Lucknow. In 2004, he established the Pathology Lab at the Trauma Centre, King George Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. He also set up collection centers at the Urology Department, Queen Mary Hospital, and Pediatric Department, enhancing patient care facilities.

Dr. Gurudutt Gupta

Head of Histopathology

Dr. Gurudutt Gupta serves as the Head of Histopathology at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Center in Delhi associated with PQSDF as visiting faculty. With over two decades of experience in laboratory medicine and clinical pathology, he previously served as an associate professor at PSMC & Shri Krishna Hospital in Gujarat.


Dr. Gurudutt is an NABL Lead & Technical Assessor, and he has done more than 50 NABL assessments as technical assessor & Lead assessor. He contributes significantly to academia as a member of the board of studies in Para-Clinical subjects at Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidya Nagar, Gujarat, under the faculty of medicine. Since 2008, he has been recognized as a post-graduate guide for Diplomate National Board (DNB) – Pathology by the National Board of Examinations.
